Newly released report useful for employers and job seekers alike
Each year, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development conducts comprehensive regional surveys on wage, salary, and hiring data. The new report for 2015 came out in October, and gives employers and employees alike some great insight into what the "going rate" of pay is for certain jobs, as well as the availability of jobs in their region. Employers, especially those struggling to fill open positions, can use this data to evaluate if their rates of pay are competitive, or to find out if there is a wealth of similar job openings competing for a limited workforce. Job seekers, and even students considering career options, can look to these reports to see where there are the greatest job opportunities and what they should expect to earn in each type of job or profession.
